CoolSculpting Elite is the upgraded version of the traditional CoolSculpting; using dual C-shaped applicators which cover up to 18% more surface area than the previous model. This allows for faster and more effective fat reduction. It can treat two areas simultaneously, effectively cutting treatment time in half.
Ideal candidates for CoolSculpting Elite are those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or less for general body areas and up to 46.2 for under the chin and jawline treatments. It is most suitable for those who are close to their ideal body weight but struggle with stubborn areas of fat that do not respond to diet and exercise alone.
Each session lasts approximately 35+ minutes per area. The dual-applicator technology allows for the treatment of two areas at once, which can reduce the overall session time.
There is no downtime required after undergoing a CoolSculpting treatment, allowing patients to return to their daily activities immediately.
The number of sessions needed varies by individual and treatment area, but typically, patients may begin to see visible results after one to three sessions. It is also good to keep in mind that some individuals may require more sessions depending on their specific goal.
Patients can expect a reduction of fat by about 20-25% in the treated areas. Initial results can be seen as soon as one to three months after treatment, with the most noticeable results after six months. The results are long-lasting provided the patient maintains a stable weight & healthy lifestyle.
It’s recommended to wait until after your postpartum checkup and until you’ve stopped breastfeeding if applicable. Consult with your healthcare provider to determine the best timing based on your recovery and personal health status.
CoolSculpting Elite is non-invasive with little to no downtime, unlike liposuction which requires recovery time and is surgical. While liposuction can remove larger quantities of fat, CoolSculpting Elite is safer and effective for those who wish to avoid surgery & longer recovery times.
It’s important to have a consultation with a qualified provider to ensure suitability for the treatment. Post-treatment, patients should maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a well-balanced diet and regular exercise, to preserve the effects of the treatment.
